Just to mention the Celtic Tiger is now over, folks don't just stroll in to a place and get jobs anymore, there'll be 100s like you looking for the same jobs unfortunately.

I tried to get a waitressing job last summer with years of experience behind me, and had no luck whatsoever. It's not a case of where's good to work for*, but where will hire you.

*Just don't bother dropping your CV into Nash 19 unless you're an incredibly hard worker who's happy to be literally rushed off your feet all day, and shouted at a lot.

I know a number of people who have worked in Luigi Malone's and Isaac's - all seemed to like it a lot. Liberty Grill is supposed to be lovely too, ditto The Brick Oven. But yeah, places are quiet.

Spectacular food, but strikes me as a stressful spot to waitress in all right...
