Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah, I'll be there. Carlow CC events are usually very well run.

I'll be easy enough to spot, little guy in Marble City Cyclers mini-skirt, "Captain Havoc" written on my crossbar.

They are, I did the humpy hundred last year, which is a killer, it really wouldn't want to have been longer than 100km, earned my cake that day.

That's good because it was beyond a disaster the last time I was on it.

*cough* stratos *cough* As I said, Captain Havoc is on the cross bar so you can't miss me and I've a happy heart on the front of my helmet (no, I'm not gay).

The Carlow 150 turned into the Carlow 100 for me today.
I ran the Edinburgh marathon last weekend and think I left my legs in Scotland.

The weather was warm and sunny, bit of wind on the way home, but hey !!
Only food stop I made was Hackettstown and that was fine, plenty of tea and grub.

Great to meet jwshooter, Captain Havoc and Haldair

    Well done to Carlow CC

    good to meet you too.

At the first feed stop we done 53k at 32kph .. i changed tactics after that and got on the front with the first 6 or so even out front for a bit ,this was going fine for about 30k we started the climb up into bunclody .

they dont call him Captain Havoc for noting ,a guy got of the front and captain chased him , thats all she wrote hammerfest after that .

a good few were chatting of going up killbrannish over mt leinster ,carlow cc did not know the road was done and scrapped that bit .

in the end 8 of us did it from bunclody, legs were tired at the top after the earlier pace .

all in all no complaints ,i enjoyed the day .im clatterfuxked .

So how does one introduce himself to another? "Er bud, can I borrow your track pump". That's twice I've asked a boardsie for a track pump without knowing he was a boardsie, cheers for that. I didn't know there was a fourth boardsie there.

Imperial measurements aren't euro so I don't use them, found the conversion there, I'm 10.38 stone.

It was a nice route and plenty of cake. Guess who took over the front and wouldn't give it up just before the second food stop?
