Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recentlhy had xp installed instead of Windows 2000 onto a Dell Optiplex.

Since the install the sound is not working and the speaker icon on the bottom right has also disappeared.

When i go into control panel and look up speakers and volume it says the sound is already installed yet i cannot seem to activate it.

    Any tips much appreciated.

Look up drivers for it online, the PC may not have drivers for XP

First click on my computer - properties - hardware - device manager - audio - ...........and see if there are any drivers there

    This.

You should be able to find the drivers on the Dell website or through Windows Update even though it is such an old system.
