What are the main dog-walking parks in Dublin? I want to post a notice about Packie, lost in Inchicore since Thursday (http://twitpic.com/1s7dx4) - children bereft, family frantic at the loss of their four-month-old collie cross pup - but where are the 10 best parks, and which are the most used gates?

Well St. Annes park over the north side, Marlay park on the south side, Phoenix park in the middle.
There would be probably quite a few parks people would use, did you want all over Dublin or closer to Inchicore?

All over Dublin, I'd say. 10 parks, to cover everything possible. (Met a dog-walker today in the National Memorial Gardens who said he'd had a dog go missing and it was found in Malahide.)

Bushy Park, especially in the wooded area by the ponds and the path along that section of the Dodder is extremely doggy. Hope you find your pup, I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks, Iguana, I'm going to put a laminated notice up in Bushy Park tomorrow morning.

    (that's using the img tags)

    and

    (that's without the img tags).

    Thanks for your help.

I've seen your posters walking my own dog up along the canal in Inchicore, hope you find the little chap. Was he chipped?

Thanks very much, Dre as in Dray - he wasn't chipped; owners are country folks, and now have to go back down to west Cork... but anyone who finds him can contact me or a neighbour (number and email on poster).
