Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

CD Drive not working...any advice?!

    Hi all

    Not v.good with computers, so any advice would be much appreciated! The cd/dvd drive on my laptop has stopped working, tbh I dont really use it much so dont know when the last time I popped in a cd in there. I have had a look at the driver and seems to be fine. You can see the cd (e) drive icon in 'my computer', but when you click nothing happening. Its an acer laptop, relatively new, with windows vista. Have a cleaning disc and tried this, but no luck. Any advice would be much appreciated!

    When you put a disc in can you hear it spinning?

    Ya you can hear it spinning, but it is like it spins a little then stops, spins a little, stops etc. It is not the usual sound when it spins continuously

    same problem, hard to find solution I replace the drive instead:D
