Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My old man is looking to buy a camera, and ill be getting it for him so want to ask if anyone knows of any deals online, in any shop etc ?

    Any advice, Canon, Sony ?

    You'll get enough reading in the FAQ thread. There are many questions you have to answer to yourself, especially what type of camera you want to get, what would be the major photographed subject or category and also if there are any limitations to the price. Don't forget to mention if there is a history of any camera gear (brand name), because some new digital gear could be quite compatible, especially PENTAX.

    Give it a good read, try to summarise few facts and we will be happy to help you forward.

    Talking about good deals, the best is to watch on-line. You could get good deals on entry-level gear from the major stores, like Argos, PC World and such. Keep your eyes open and check this forum, people sometimes do post information about good deals.
