Irish Met Society Photography Competition 2010

    The Irish Met Society is pleased to announce that it will run another photography competition this year. Our 2009 competition was extremely successful with the winner, Anthony Byrne, going on to achieve first place in the European Met Society competition.

    What to photograph:
    Any Irish location but the photograph must have a seasonal or weather theme.

    Some rules:
    The competition is open to everyone with a maximum of 3 entries per person. Only colour photographs are accepted and there must be no people in the picture.
    Closing date: September 30th 2010.

    How to enter:
    E-mail your photograph(s) to: irishmetsoccompetitions@gmail.com - include your name, photograph location and photograph title.

    Prizes:
    1st: 150 Euro, 2nd: 75 Euro, 3rd: 50 Euro. The Irish Meteorological Society will nominate a panel of judges and their decision will be final.

    Please note that photographs submitted as entries may be selected to feature on the IMS website and related links as well as in IMS publications. The photographer will always be acknowledged.
