Nigel Bond today won the qualifying event in Bradford to gain a wild card spot for next seasons World Seniors Championship.The event was held over the w'end and included names such as Tony Knowles,Mike Hallett,Tony Drago,David Taylor, Dave Harold and Joe Swail.
In the event proper in November he will come up against the likes of Steve Davis, Cliff Thorburn, Dennis Taylor, Jimmy White and Joe Johnson amongst others.
The tournament which is open to any professional over 40 will be held over a w'end and will be televised.
Should be great fun!
