2. American drama from the last couple of years. The main actor passed away just before it's release.

I didn't get a chance to take some more screen captures for 1 & 10 so here's another clue for each:

1. Made by a veteran French director. I think this is the first time he's done an animated musical (or even an animation).

10. A "talkie". The director (pictured) was more used to not talking in films! The speech he makes at the end of this film got him more attention from the anti-communist groups in America at the time.
