Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still 3 of these left. A few clues:

    1. Actor in the middle is an Oscar winner and multiple Oscar-nominee. But this was not one of his better received films.

    2. A movie with interconnected stories. One of the main stars had more success in the world of music than in film.

    6. Very well regarded and influential crime film. The shot of the door should give a clue as to what's happening (or about to happen)!

I had to work hard to get a very un-Hoffman like shot! It's just an unusual angle I guess, with his head bent down.

    These two were needlessly difficult.

The first one stars everyone's favourite rubber face, and I consider it his very best work.

The second is an Oscar nominated indie starring the best 'average Joe' in the business.

What scene was it? I thought I knew that film really well!

Carrey is in bed with his head under the covers, and Winslet is talking about her childhood, her dolls, etc. Then the dolls face appears and the camera zooms straight in on its eyes. I can't remember any more details, but it's well into the second act.

This one seems to have slipped through, even though it's pretty well known in the crime genre.
So time for the giveaway clue....the lead actor was renowned for his lazy laconic style and sported one of the most famous dimpled chins in Hollywood.

    Someone's gotta get it now!
