Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Here are some clues (not in order):

One of these films is currently being rebooted (again).

One of these films was made as part of a project celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Mozart.

One of the films features both an Olivier Award winner and a UFC Champion.

One of these films contains an Academy Award-winning performance from its lead actress (its lead actor would have to wait another 8 years to get his Oscar).

One of these films is based on a stage play and spans the years 1986 to 2003.

Based on the clue below I'm going to guess Dean Man Walking, but basing it solely on the clue as I don't actually recognise any shots from the film!!

No, this film is older and more comedic* than Dead Man Walking.

*I should clarify- it's a comedy. More comedic than Dead Man Walking is basically every film.

    2. [answered] Godzilla

    3. [answered] Syndromes and a Century

    4. [answered] Memories of Murder

    5. [answered] Moonstruck

Maybe I made these too obscure:o

Some IMDb Plot Keywords for each of the films [edited now in order]:

    3. symbolism, hospital, thailand, repeated scene
    4. mental retardation, country vs city cultures, faked evidence, rumor
    5. opera, artificial hand, widow, dysfunctional family

And here are the previous clues in order:

    1. One of the films features both an Olivier Award winner and a UFC Champion.
    2. One of these films is currently being rebooted (again).
    3. One of these films was made as part of a project celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Mozart.

Based on your clues, I'd say 1 is Haywire. I think Ewan McGregor may have won an Olivier.

    Some clues:

    5. Actor in background will point you in the right direction.
    8. If you can recognise the actor in the foreground (with back to camera) this one is easy! I think someone posted a shot from this film a while back.
    9. Opening shot of this animated film, showing the family's home in London.

No, it's not The General. It's actually a short (from 1922) , so probably makes it too obscure.
