Yep - thats one line of attack. Could use another like "palestinian stole it and used it in Israel" ... but that wouldnt hold out ... because the Israelis would probably shoot him, and then use it themselves ....

Nah - let's stick with the one most likely story

It wouldn't surprise me if the Israeli authorities are using these cards to purchase materials that could be used in a "terrorist attack", and then notifying the CIA of all purchase records like so so that they can be framed on a later date.

The IDF are nothing but a shower of thieves according to this article.

You do realise that you are quoting Press TV, don't you?
Have you ever actually watched that channel?

I take it by "good deal" you are not referring to the unarmed civilians who were executed in international waters for attempting to deliver aid?

Its irrelevant whether it comes from an Iranian source or not, bottom line is that the IDF are a shower of thieving scum and electronic bank statement details are there to prove it.

BTW this story is also in an Israeli media source.

Press TV is just one of many sources for this story.

Just on an off side, how do you see Mark Regev, Tzipi Livni, Benjamin Netanyahu, Ehud Barak, and Avigdor Lieberman when they appear on TV, explaining the "Israeli" side of things?

Me - well, I tend to see them in the same light as comical Ali - he of the former Iraqi army, and of many TV appearances refuting the fact that the Americans were drawing close to Baghdad...

I think there's a question in all of this - and rather than "did an Israeli soldier take the card and use it?", the question should be "why did the Israeli do it?" ... and the answer is glaringly and blatantly obvious. It is because the Israelis believe they can do what they want, when they want and to who they want - with impunity.

On one hand, they plead their cause of a people having been persecuted for millenia - and now they are dishing it out and persecuting the palestinians, whose right to their own homeland (in existence before the current illegal state of Israel) is denied.

The Israelis are borrowing the lies, strategies, and policies of a certain powerhungry evil regime of the first half of the 20th century.

The push for settlements well into the palestinian territories smacks of Lebensraum.

The lies told by Mark Regev and his ilk would have you believe that all palestinians are terrorists.

If you want to see the reality - listen to John Ging, an Irishman and UN executive in Gaza ... he has first hand knowledge of the lies of the Israelis, and their two faced approach to "diplomacy".

Anyways, 2 minute rant over ... back to the football

and I wouldnt expect anything else.

You seem to be the self appointed apologist for the Israelis.

Haaretz reporter tells of Israeli Border Police arresting man and then shooting him twice in the face and killing him while he was unarmed and on the ground in front of them.

Since it is an Israeli paper reporting this, I'd be interested in what comments you would make about that story

I dont know ... but something like the use of the card should be easy enough to verify - all you would need is a credit card statement

Sky sources: Israel to ease Gaza blockade - all civilian goods allowed in except those which could have military use
Middle East Envoy Tony Blair live on Sky News at 5.05pm after Israel agrees to relax Gaza blockade.

Looks like the people may not have lost their lives in vain

Apologist? I apologise for nothing, I merely clear up some of the lies and disinformation that goes around the anti-Israeli circles.

And as for this story, I coudln't give a flying f**k about it either, now to go back to enjoying the good weather.

Like biscuits? they were banned before. Imagine those jaffa cakes causing so many problems for the Israeli government!

    BS.

You are an apologist. Your extreme bias in favour of Israel is sickening, as is your disregard for the life of a man taken by agents of the state you love to defend.

That likely will not end well.

Port of Oakland needs its piers to be cycling. I expect some remedial actions will be taken to stop the offloading from being blocked. The last time such a thing occurred, about two years back, it was not a pleasant outcome for the protestors.

Wouldnt it be wonderful if the dockers took the same approach as the workers in Dunnes many years ago, and refuse to handle Israeli goods?

And look at the list of those involved, Labor / Community Committee in Solidarity with the People of Palestine, Arab American Union Members Council, ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism), Palestine Youth Network, US Palestine Community Network, Al Awda- Right to Return Coalition, Arab Youth Organization, MECA-Middle East Children's Alliance, Students for Justice in Palestine, Arab Resource and Organizing Center, International Solidarity Movement, San Jose Peace and Justice Center, International Socialist Organization, Peace and Freedom Party - SF, Transport Workers Solidarity Committee and many labor activists in the Bay Area activists in the Bay Area.

Islamists, socialists and right-on do-gooders for the most part, no surprise there really. Hopefully the police and courts will deal with them.

Again, your apologetics knows no bounds.

What affiliations do you have to Israel? Are you a member of the JIDF? Are you Jewish? Are you a supporter of Zionism?

Wah wah wah. You need to get a grip.

If you like to make light of a man's death while unarmed and presenting no threat to anyone at the hands of the forces and agents of the country you so often defend, it shows everyone what you are.

What do you think of the expulsion of an Israeli diplomat from ireland over the passport fiasco?

Except to Israel that means they'll do what they've been doing since they are convinced they were right all along and that the items on their existing blocked list are all terrorist items.

They have no interest in relaxing the blockade only in getting the media to go away.

Why has Bibi only said that they would "ease" the blockade of Gaza in press releases in English to foreign media. That bit was not included in the press release in Hebrew for domestic consumption?
Could it be that it was another lie from the Israeli PM before his meeting with Obama next month, just like the so-called "freeze" on settlement building ?
The Prime Minister's Office announced on Thursday that the security cabinet had agreed to relax Israel's blockade on the Gaza Strip, but as it turns out, no binding decision was ever made during the cabinet meeting.

The Prime Minister's Office issued a press release in English following the meeting, which was also sent to foreign diplomats, was substantially different than the Hebrew announcement – according to the English text, a decision was made to ease the blockade, but in the Hebrew text there was no mention of any such decision.
