    Hi All

As above I'm having trouble with a 1999 Octavia. All the clocks including the Speedo , rev counter, fuel gauge etc are on the blink and only work occasionally.

Is this a common fault in the Octavia.

Is a new cluster the only option or is there a cheaper option ?

    Thanks

There is a fuse that you can take out and they should start working again. The clock and trip mileage will reset themselves every time you switch the car off but everything else can come back to life.

I'll see if I can find out which one as I can't remember off hand. Or maybe someone else might know.

Edit. Seems to be fuse no.15. Someone with autodata might be able to tell you which one is acually no.15.
