Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Specalized Toupe 143 (Black)saddle, I find it really uncomfortable, and have only used it once. So Im looking to swap it for a, Fizik Airone,
Must be lightly used (not ridden by an elite cat, for the last season:D)

    Happy Cycling:)

With respect, try it again. Same happened to me a few years ago. Couldn't walk up the stairs after a 40 mile spin, never mind take off my shoes. Took a while, couldn't bend down or something. Toupe 143.

Wore off and went out the next day for a similar spin. Came home, fine. Have them on two of my bikes now and wouldn't change them.
they're brilliant. I know what you went through but persevere.

Suggest you stick in Cycling Adverts, more chance of selling and buying than a straight swap.

I might be interested in buying as long as it's not the gel version, depending on price and location. I have three already, great saddles (for me). :)

I bought a 130mm Toupe last year and it took me about six weeks to get used to it. Absolutely perfect after that. I had the same initial problems as you. Give a while and see what happens.

I'll swap for a Selle Italia Thoork Gelflow black, as new, if you're interested?

    Thanks for the advice,
In truth, I did put the toupe back on my bike. I did over a week of riding. Putting in a good few spins. After multiple adjustments and lots of pain, I just decided to remove it, after a 60 mile spin. I was in total agony all the way home:mad: Perhaps I need the wider version:eek:

I have been using the fizik aliante since, good saddle although I found the padding too soft and squidgy.

So Im keen to try a Fizik Arione
