Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just looking at Primetime investigates there on RTE. A very interesting documentry on online child abuse/photography/porn. There was over 1000 people viewing this stuff in Ireland in a 30 days study period. Some numerous times and some who video themselves doing the actual abuse and then sharing the stuff worldwide.

At the end of the programme, just before the credits, they listed all the towns in Ireland where this activity has been tracked to. The information comes from an FBI tracker but the worrying thing is Bray, Greystones and Wicklow were all on the list. It's happening close to home. This place (Greystones, Charlesland and all around) is a dreamland for these guys. It's booming with kids. You don't know who they are. Can't spot them like a junkie or drunk. It could be just one person in each town but still as a parent it's pretty horrible the thoughts of it.

Unfortunately it happens but that programme just reminds me that it happens everywhere.
