    not sure when this rain is supposed to arrive. was hoping it would hold back until nightfall.

    Well, the forecast was for rain [to] develop in the west by morning. Not only is it not raining in the west but there is little sign of any frontal approach in the skies. Just the usual big black clumps of watery looking cumulus underneath bleached watery sky. Was actually looking forward to a wet day! :o

    19.6c now and feeling sticky and humid with the 6mph SSW breeze offering little relief.

    it looks like its only little bursts of rain..with nothing major coming in yet. any idea when the heavier rain is to arrive in the west/south west?

    Dry,bright morning in Castlebar but getting cloudier all the time with the rain arriving around 3pm.nothing to heavy yet.

    Cloudy here in Lucan too. Personally I cant wait for a good soaking of rain. My garden is as dry as a old bone.

    DUDE :) not everyone hates the rain. I love it, granted not contstantly, but I love it for my garden.:)

    been spit's n spot's of rain for the last 2 hour's,you could stand out in it for half an hour and not get wet but looking at latest sat on met.ie it's heavy in the midland's?!?!
    16.7c a little cooler than of late.

    Still 18c here and not dropping much so hopefully thats our minimum temperatures for the night.
