I was told today that if i fail ordinary level irish i will not get into college, is this true?

I'm hoping of applying for a construction course in either LIT or DIT but haven't noticed irish being a entry requirement.

If it doesn't say in the prospectus or on the website you should be grand. You could ring the colleges to make sure, they'll be happy to help

A quick email to the department will sort you out in no time.

It sounds unlikely that you will need Irish though. But forget the defeatist attitude, you wont fail Irish! :D
