Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got myself one of these last spring after a 4 year break from mtb, built it up over the summer with a Revelation fork, hayes brakes, XT bits n' pieces, Thompson post, old Syncros stem, Brooks team pro saddle, DT swiss wheels(1800's were part of the frame set), Hope headset. Rode it once on three rock, felt great. First experiance of a long fork. Got knocked off by a twat in a BMW on my commute(different bike thanks be to jebus) and my shoulder hasn't been up to an off road adventure since September, GRRRRR.
Lots of physio done and back training on the road bike so i hope to get out this summer, I can't flippin wait!

Here's my bike, the crank has taken a few bangs so am looking to change, it's using Shimano hollowtech, any advice?

Shimano SLX is probably the best crank for the money at the moment.

Cheers Morgan, 25% off in CRC at the moment too. The XT is also on sale, is it worth the extra few bob in your opinion?

Small weight saving, shinier - that's about it.
