just showed a funnel cloud on rte news captured on camera in wexford.

I was driving out the N4 coming towards 4 o clock today and there were some nasty looking clouds, plenty of people looking up as they drove.looked very threatening.

East Meath here and it's been sunny for hours with some very dark, stormy looking clouds to the west that just don't seem to want to come this way. As much as I want to see the rain go away and sun come back, it would be great to see and hear a decent thunder storm!!

was just about to ask if anyone in Meath and what's happening there, some big volatile looking stuff on the radar!

Looks like West of Meath (not Westmeath) is getting some serious rainfall!

hi guys, 1st post in this section.

im in lucan and theres some great cloud formations up there. patches of

blue sky all around and the darkest grey clouds pushing in from the west.

i was in clondalkin about 5 and i could see the the storm in dublin.

absolutely amazing site, and the photo from the dublin mountains

showed it perfect. there was a nice rainbow effect from it.

its really still out there at the mo, and theres hardly a bird to be seen or

    heard.

Sucks to be in the North West :( Nothing but drizzle and a dull overcast sky here.

Possible cell just to the west of Dublin now, also possible cells developing to the North of Dublin. It would help if there are posters in these locations!

Not a lot in the south east of Meath. A few run of the mill rumbles earlier in the afternoon with some bursts of heavy rain, but the centre of the circulation has been hanging around here most of the day so everything was going on all around here, but not here. Now the centre has moved southwards slightly, but nothing has been developing to the immediate north of it, except sunshine, until now I see some ominous clouds have moved over, but the mets rainfall radar is still showing the activity circulating around here rather than through here :(
