Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do any hardcore Fender-heads know if there's any guitar other than the American Deluxe Strat that has the S-1 pickup switching system? Or even if you could put something like it into a mod?

The older American Standards had them. Not sure until what year though...

Hmmm... Do you reckon that's before the 90's? Any idea about putting one into a guitar?

Nope, it was in the 2000's. Maybe 2005 or 2006 onwards or something. Do a search on google about it.

Essentially the S-1 is just a push/push pot thats used for volume and coil tap.

Yeah I tried that but couldn't find anything! So does that mean that getting a modded one on another strat would work? I've never done any rewiring or anything
