How to clean suede?

    Hi everyone,

    Does anyone know any neat tricks to clean suede?

    I was out last week and my boyfriend thought it would be funny to step on my suede shoes :rolleyes: I suppose it was funny, but now they have big black marks on them :(

    They're cream coloured by the way, not blue :)

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    You could try using a delicate suede/nubuck cleaner on them while very gently rubbing with very soft wire brush or nail brush. If the stain isn't too bad, you may be able to brush it off gently.

    However, before you use the cleaner it might be an idea to do a small test in an inconspicuous place to ensure the colour doesn't change too much. Also, go easy with the brush, too, as it can sometimes scuff the suede if it's not already done so. Again, doing a quick test to see how the suede reacts is a good idea.
