    hey this is my first thread but iv used the site for years as a reference.
    i have a 00 ford focus, right hand drive saloon and i need to align the passenger head light for the nct, problem is the alignment mechanism is broken. a mechanic said i need to replace the headlight unit, but the part alone would be 90 euro in ireland never mind the labour and actual alignment, so after some research i found that i can get the headlight unit for 30 euro new on ebay and i could install it myself and then pay to have it aligned.
    my question is this;

    will replacing the headlight unit be sufficent?(is the alignment mechanism contained in the unit?)

    also if possable how to remove and replace the unit(iv heard it can be tricky.)

    any advice would be great and really appreciated

    get one in a scrapyard, should get one for 40, the adjuster is part of the headlight,
    i had a 99 focus a few years ago and from what i can remember there is only 3 bolts/screws holdin the head light in, one at each end of the headlight on top and then theres one down the back of it aswell

    its easy to change anyway
