    Anybody know anything about this?

    I was chatting to someone about this briefly and they said it was on in Ballymote.

    There isn't much on google about it apart from the date and the venue..

    I haven't heard anything about this - diddley squat in fact, until I read your post. A bit odd, seeing as it's in 3 weeks time.

    Doesn't look the best either - nearly 80 bucks for a 2 day festival with no food or beer stalls? Seems like a fairly shoddy attempt in all fairness.

    I think I'll hold out for the one in September - 3 days for 60 bucks & a much better set-up & line-up by the looks of it.

    I think that if you look up the festival you'll find that it's an independent festival and as such there is no commercialisation or sponsorship, it's just funded by those that run it. It's a BYOB event because let's face it... who wants to queue at bars for overpriced booze... there is full kitchen and cooking facilities provided, you can cook your own food... no ones trying to charge you an arm and leg for scaldy chips. There are free Hot showers and full toilet facilities... don't think there is anything too shabby about that.

    Lineup's actually savage... all good Irish Indy bands and DJ's, the full list is on the site there... http://www.npld.ie/
