Construction noise at night in Marino

    Hoping someone can clear this up as it's wrecking my husband's head so he's wrecking mine :)

    There's been a constant "hum" at night in Marino for a while now, usually we don't notice with the rest of the traffic noise, wind, etc .. however, last night was really calm and it kept us awake from around 5am .. anyone got any idea how we'd find out what it is?

    Haven't heard anything myself either, unless it's coming from the Port Tunnel.

    I'll have a listen out tonight.
    The Port Tunnel is all I can think that it would be.
    Although, there is somewhere that has a procession of "dings" during the day,
    which I have heard at night at times.
    Which could mean they're still working on whatever it is.
    I never found out.
