    i need a full irish & uk towns & cities & postcode database for a website .

    Time for you to use google I think :) Or if I remember correctly, there was a similar post on this several months ago, so simply check through old posts on this or the design forum

    The royal mail provide a UK one, dunno where you can get an Irish one.

    or copy the html from a site you know that has the data you need and write a small script to generate csv or some such of the data

    UK keep changing their postcodes, and sell the Royal Mail sell the database via CD if I remember right.

    I used to deal with businesses who used to get an updated list ever other month which required an import.
