Parsing HTML with PHP?

Hey, I'm looking to parse html using PHP. I'm trying to take all the images from a friend's site. He literally has hundreds and I want to save them locally (on my php server). I've been doing a bit of googling and can't find that much on it. I tried PHP's DOM parser without much luck. Anyone know of anywhere I'd get good…

Hey,

You could of course use RegEx's to find the image tags and extract the address and download them automatically.

Would you not just ask him for a copy on CD ?

He is in the US and I'd like to learn how to save remote images using PHP.

Thanks for the other help. I'll look into the other thread and the tutorials mentioned.:)
