Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hey all, virgin to the cycling forums, looking for advice.

i used to bmx for a few years when i was younger, looking to get back into trail riding / riding street and skateparks ect.

i dont really want to go for a bmx this time around, i wanna try out a hard tail.

anyways, as im the type of person that sometimes takes up hobbies, spends a fortune on them then drops them, i was thinking of buying second hand, but buying something decent.

was looking over on adverts and theres 2 specialized p1's for sale. ones a 2008 model with a decent spec, just waiting to hear back what his lowest cash price is. the second is a fairly mint lookin 2005 model. that dude is lookin for 275, i offered 250, not gonna go any higher.

anyways, is the p1 a good bike? would i be better off payin the 730 and buying a brand new 2010 model?

and 24" vs 26", any advice for someone with a bmx history?

    all advice is appreciated

    cheers

    rob
