    Reports coming through that he's been hospitalized and in grave condition. Very sad news especially considering he was arguably the most iconic coaching figure in basketball history

    John Wooden 1910 - 2010.
    Incredibly impressive man and mind; he remained as sharp as ever into his late 90's.
    His 'pyramid of success' and books are worth seeking out, not only for those involved in sport, he had a profound impact on many coaches in all sports, but also for anyone interested in life, really.
