one of the best hangover preventions is aloe vera juice. small cap full the night before and youre much better the next day

Also had been getting terrible hangovers lately so went back to basics and tried to sort out my self before i went out. its simple and tried it only ;ast weekend. Have a big meal an hour or two before you start drinking with a glass of milk. Drink away for the night avoiding shorts and have a small meal before bed. also a pint of water before you sleep and you will have a very managable hangover!!

Buy a litre bottle of cold water. Go to your nearest gym. Spend one hour alternating between steamroom, jacuzzi and sauna. Sweat all the badness out and re-hydrate yourself with the water.

Follow this by a nice big feed and you'll be ready for action again!

Step away from the tay, it's a diuretic and will dehydrate you even further. Paracetamol is bad for your liver which TBH has taken enough of a hammering already, soluble dispirin is better

When I come home I have a pint of water with some salt before going to bed. I don't put the salt in the water I lick it off the back of my hand as if I was going to follow it with a tequila and then knock back the water.

If you go to the chipper on the way home lace your chips with salt for the same effect, salt and water is great for rehydrating.

Some people swear by Lifeline tablets (€2.99 in most chemists, take with your first drink) but I'm not entirely convinced.
