Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was on that same road late last year for the first time ever and wouldn't describe that route between Ballincorney and Knockatillane as a road at all. It was more of a milary service track and not fit for any sort of road bike. I was on a mountain bike and even then it was ropey enough since most of the route is downhill from Booherbreena to the Sally Gap. I took the route as a means of avoiding the N81 but would advise any roadie to venture on and take in the longer smoother surface of the N81

Tks Dr , thats what I was afraid of - I have been directed down a few dirt tracks by the fact that google maps don't distinguish between L roads and bohreens ...

The road is mostly fine up between points A & B. It's the left turn off the Bohernabreena road that turns into a bohreen.

it's still perfectly cycleable on a road bike though... or was before the winter, and I doubt it's got a huge amount worse
