Blue Jean Festival in Athboy, Co. Meath- about an hour from Dublin. Lots of kid's entertainment there.

The Leixlip Festival is on. (You can't drive through Leixlip, they close the Main Street). Juggling acts, storytelling, circus acts, clowns..other sorts of street entertainers, think there's farmyard animals too, there's fairs and stalls, candyfloss, fairground rides for kids..

We went to Bloom in the Phoenix park today and it's really great with lots for kids to do.
It's a bit pricey though E25 per adult, kids are free. I got a 2 for 1 voucher in Newlands cross garden centre which made it more affordable.
