Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What brand of cycling shoes, and pedals do you use?
8k Does this mean 8 kilometres?
Please give more information. Burning feet can be caused by a number of factors.
    * Cycling shoes too small or to narrow.
    *incorrect cleat installation

    Hope this helps.

    happy cycling.:)

    Shimano Ro86 Shoes
    8 kilometers.

I think feet are slipping inside, im talking milimeters and thats causing it. might try insoles. Shoes are a good fit.

had same issue - first time on cleats, after 8-12kms Id get bad burning/pins needles. Moved the cleats to be over ball of foot (actually a little closer to the heel than 'on' the ball of foot) and has been fine since.

Been starting to get this myself the last few weeks. From what I've read the problem is caused by too much pressure at one point on your foot and the nerves there getting crushed. The general solution seems to be to move your cleats to the arch of your foot rather than the ball of your foot. Unfortunately I've always cycled with my cleats as far back as possible :/
