I second this co0kie home tab is a great add on for the HD2. Make sure you download the editor to make full use of it.

O2 phones are locked to the network.

Using the app you can have hours of fun watching your HD2-owning friends squirm as they return to the room to find that their shiny, expensive love affair has been completely destroyed in their absence. Rather than apologising, you can then quickly close the application and claim that they should be thanking you for teaching them the importance of a decent screen protector.
The application is currently only available in French, but as the user interface includes little text, this should not be a major problem. It should work for any Windows Mobile-running device with a screen resolution of WQVGA or higher.

the o2 HTC HD2 that my missus bought 6 weeks ago is NOT NETWORK-LOCKED.
Neither was my Omnia Pro 7310...nor my Vf HD2.
In fact, no wm I ever bought from an Irish network was ever locked.

Anyway, the o2 HD2 has an o2 bootscreen but no other branding. Generic Htc ROM and Manila. :)

This has been a brilliant app for me. wouldn't be without it, finally does the job of locking the screen during calls!!
