    Hi,

    Does anyone know if there any cinema's showing 'Sex and the City 2' in a Mother & baby screening?
    I mailed my nearest cinema (Storm in Waterford) and received the following reply;

    "As the film carries a 15 certificate all patrons will be required to be of this age and above
    and therefore Sex in the City will not be showing as a Newbies screening"

    Am I alone in thinking this is kind of ludicrous? Its not like my 3 month old child is going to be affected by seeing anything offensive in the film :rolleyes:
    Or is it the norm that the films shown in the parent & baby screenings are PG/U rated?
    I'd love to go see the film but with hubby working nights don't get a chance to make the evening screenings :(
    Would be great if there was somewhere showing it in the morning/afternoon as a parent and baby screening as my little lady would most likely sleep through anyway.

    Normally it is adult films shown at the parent and baby cinema times so that mammies get a chance to see the latest new release.

    For example - http://www.movies-at.ie/swords/reelparents.php

    Thanks a mill for that link Moonbeam, think I'll try catch it when I'm up staying with my folks next.
    I thought that was the whole point also, that it was to enable adults to get out to see films, well for adults!

    It's a pity your local cinema don't do it, it's a brilliant idea and as you say, your little one is hardly going to be offended by it! :P
