alarm sysytem?

hi guys im am just wondering about the monitored alarm system and if i will have to get it . i am getting my first gun in a shorth while but my dad already has 4 guns in the house and im not sure if we will have to get the alarm system if i get the gun . im hoping to get a rimfire .22lr.

You should not need a monitored alarm system according to the SI. Your father is already in level three security and should have the necessary minimum security requirements installed. You getting another unrestricted firearm brings the total to 5 and keeping you within the guidelines of level three.

As always its completely up to your Super to set the true standard, but in theory it shouldn't effect you.
