Eircom and DSL broadband

    I am with UPC and happy.
    However people that can only get DSL including some friends and asked these
    questions.

    What are the prices for broadband off Eircom INCLUDING the LINE RENTAL?

    The Eircom site is very confusing with different bundles which make no mention of line rental.

    No phone just Broadband including the line costs what do the packs cost.

    Easiest way to find out is to make up a fake account application.

    Currently the broadband + phone bundles are quoted inclusive of line rental.
    The broadband on its own is not inclusive of line rental.

    I.e
    7Mb broadband + eircom talktime chatter (bundle) = €61.73
    7Mb broadband (on its own) = €39.82 + 25.36 = €65.18

    Considering its cheaper, they might as well get the phone package thrown in.

    Though if they just want broadband they'd be better off looking at some of the resellers.
    E.g Smart Telecom offer 7Mb broadband and pay as you go calls for €46/month

    If you look around you'll probably find some others are even cheaper.
