Hi, would someone be able to help me with these few questions? I couldn't get the answers, and i cant find them in my book.

What is meant by the term diploid number?
What is the function of meiosis?
To which group of biomolecules do enzymes belong to?
Name the position on the enzyme to which the substrate becomes attached?

    1. The number of cells that a copy of each chromosome ( I think)

    2. To produce Gametes

    3. Proteins

    4 The Active Site

These could all be wrong though!

2-4 are right more or less

The diploid number basically the number of chromosomes in a normal cell. In a human that would be 46.

The gametes (the sperm and egg) are haploid, so a human egg has 23.

Also with the diploid question say that it is '2(n)' and then follow with the explanation the person above me said

But a heads up. If you don't know these answers, you probably need to do a lot more study.
Well, that's if you're doing HL anyway.
Not being mean, I'm just saying those particular questions would be considered easy. ;)
