From long-term savings my wife and I have a bit less than 50K Euro sitting in various accounts not doing very much as we thought we would be buying a house. We do not see any value in buying an overpriced house just at the minute in Dublin someplace and want to invest or save our money safely and also accrue some interest. We are both in our 30s and have an apartment to live in that I bought seven years ago and no debts other than this mortgage. I would be very grateful for any advice on how I should best proceed and what I should be reading up on. Many thanks in advance.
