    Just as an aside, I'd advise that players add all teams in their groups on the PSN and as well as posting here, it might be a good idea to ask players when they'll be available to play via PSN messages.

    So you play the other two teams in your group twice? How many go through to the next round?

    Yep, top 2 from each group qualify for the knockout stages.

    Just play the two opposition teams once I would presume... but I dont make the rules :p

    I'm just rethinking that at the moment. I used the competition wizard to set it up automatically. Should we just use the same format as the World Cup? As long as it's not possible for 2 teams from the group stages to meet before the final anyway.

    EDIT: Actually, that's the way the World Cup is set up because we could have met Germany again in the Semis in 2002!

    How about the winners from A-D meet the runner-ups from E-H and vice versa? That would seperate them, wouldn't it?

    We're doing the World Cup, but we're already playing each other twice, which is different. I've just always thought the fact that you could meet a team in the group stages and Semi-finals was rubbish!

    Sure if you meet them in the final there is no difference...Still goin to play them 3 times

    It's not definite, we'll either do that or the World Cup layout. I'd prefer to go with a majority opinion even if it's not the same as mine.

    If I got knocked out? Yes, of course. I don't expect to get very far with Ecuador to be honest and my main objective against you will be to keep the score down and not make so many silly mistakes.

    Spain (Osu) 3-4 Greece (Philly_C)

    Was 3-1 down and somehow came back to win. Was a bit worried when he went 1 up so quick. Good game.
