I jusy bought some Ronseal Quick drying varnish (clear, gloss) and when I open the tin the contents are a milky colour. I was not expecting this - is the varnish ok? I was expecting it to look solething like clear nail varnish!

Ya that is fine. I think its the water based varnish that is the milky colour.. Have used it before. Just stir it well and all well be good.

Good stuff for indoor use, and yes it is 'milky' in the tin.

I use to import Bondex and though the same when i first saw the new water based version....

Have to say it;s very decieving. Looks like it has gone off so i understand your feelings perfectly..

But as advised above its fine.
