I like Richard Ashcroft as an artist. So, this new album of his intrigues me.
Himself and The Verve were brilliant but I think he is past his best. I will still give his album a listen before I judge it.

Just bumping this after I got the new album. So far it's brilliant. Really enjoying it especially This Thing Called Life.

Brilliant stuff, he's so full of energy and verve throughout the album (pardon the pun)

God, how the mighty have fallen. I think this is by far the worst of his solo efforts so far. Couple of decent tracks but on the whole it's very forced and lyrically appalling.

Shame, as parts of Forth were really quite promising.
