Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dunno if theres already a thread about this but over the past few weeks I've noticed the Newstalk broacasting to be randomly repeating itself ... like if tis a dodgy record. Noticed it on the breakfast show and off the ball.
    Is this bugging anyone else?

No, just the odd sentence seems to be repeated, happening fairly random

Oh I see, a technical hitch sorry, Newstalk and Today FM have a live delay (which so failed in the Tom Dunne/Nell McCafferty debacle, actually thats harsh someone needs to hit the button) and it appears to be causing more problems than solutions (a newscast went all wrong last week). I'll presume the output goes through a digital processor like this before it reaches the feed to the outside world that could be the source of the troubles.

Yep, that sounds like it. Heard it on opff the ball a few weeks ago and it was almost every 2nd or 3rd sentence, had to switch it off. Annoying as hell.

Unless you turn RDS/AF off, your car radio automatically retunes to another transmitter/frequency as it travels (to have the best reception), say from 107.4 to 107.0. The problem is a delayed audio feed at some transmitter, as it may be instead fed from 'Sky' satellite as backup. What part of the country is this a problem?

Are we talking about whole sentences being repeated or just the end of words?

Cheers for that info. I'm in the Midlands. I'll turn off the RDS and see if that makes any difference

Sometimes the odd word or 2, sometimes a whole sentence.
