    Have you folens exam papers? They have an alright timing scheme in there done by marks:minutes

    Well here's Edco's timing:

    Paper I:
    20 mins read & choose questions
    35 mins Question A
    35 mins Question B
    80 mins composition

    Paper II:
    15 mins read paper
    55 mins single text
    65 mins comparative
    15 mins unseen poetry
    50 mins Prescribed poetry

    ...I dont actually time my self, just do how it goes, thats that, i need to learn this timing and all but its too confusin for me personally, so, oh well :D

    My timing for P1 is:
    Read paper & select qs- 10 mins
    Question A- 45 mins
    Question B- 40 mins
    Composition 80 mins

    I need more time to write QA than is usually recommended so if you get it done faster or need more time to choose Qs then you should alter that.
