Modded wii question

    I was giving a wii with firmware 4.2 but it has homebrew channel on it and it has boot mii to. it wont run stuff on it from the homebrew channel but i want to fix it and trade it in or at least sell it is there anything i can do

    Remove the homebrew channel and sell it on adverts.ie

    Or you could fix it and keep it yourself. Just go through any number of guides on GBAtemp for installing (reinstalling) HBC :)

    but if i remove the homebrew channel can i update to the latest firmware

    Ok so i formated the wii and it goes onto net and plays games can i sell it now and not worry something will happen down the line
