Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is golf like this? At least golfists are wealthy old men with spoiled blond daughters... ahem, but I'm not.

I dunno how I manage it, I guesstimate I have 1100 euro in one corner of my room, thats 4 aegs, a grenade launcher and a pistol in holster, and that doesn't include the pistols in their boxes in cupboards, any of my tools, spares, and gear or magazines.

And I think I have a relatively sparce collection, I sell most of what I don't need, and generally use all of what I have (sometimes) for games. I know how easy it would be with some surplus cash to just get that akm I want, get that dragunov, get that new set of russian gear, get hand grenades, jesus, the list goes on.

Is golf like this? We do use small white balls and wear funny clothes outdoors, I think it is a bit golf like, note to self, never try golf.

If it was like golf can you imagine the sort of airsoft field you could build on a golf course sized bit of land with a few hundred people paying €2k per year for membership? :)

No idea of the running total now, but it's definitely the last option in the poll for me :)

Just wondering are people including there skirmish money ?

If so then I'll have to add another €250 onto my amount spent. :(:p

Thought it was a little past 3k but I was wrong.
I'm past the 10,300 Euro mark at this stage add another half grand onto some upcoming purchases.
(Its only a rough guess with a an average pistol at 150 Euro and an AEG being 180-200 for normal
stuff and a bit extra for the special stuff)

I want more but some stuff does not exist in airsoft.

When I started collecting airsoft guns, It was because I reckoned I could not afford to buy
de-activated stuff and it would be hassle, I also figured I could never afford the real steel rifle I wanted.
Turns out the real steel rifle a Sako TRG 22 in Green would have only cost 3450 Euros!

Bullets could do his own version of that and put that pic to shame. He needs a panoramic lens to fit all the stuff in.

I suspect you would need most of a tennis court to lay your collection out as well!

I've sold a good bit of my kit over the years though. It's just mainly the high end stuff I've left now and a load of pistols. I had to start downsizing, the bedroom floor was starting to buckle.:D

I'd say if I took away the money I got back on sales versus what I've spent it total it wouldn't look so bad. Still off my head though.:)

Tis very very very scary how much we all spent on airsoft!
I bought a house a few years ago (1999) and am still waiting to
save up to get a wall either side of my back garden, and dont have some rooms carpeted or painted propper. Yet
I've managed to pay for most of my impulse airsoft buys!

Next sunny day and once I get my latest orders in I will
try and update the family airsoft pic. Last time I needed to take the photo hanging out of my upstairs window. so may need to take two photos and merge them next time.

There are a few others that post here that have more Airsoft gear than me! One person who lives about less than a km from me had a ton of gear, but I cant remember their user name. Hightower looks like he has a serious amount of Kit as does Pudding, Masada I'm not sure what his quantities are like, would love to see people post group pics of all their gear!!!

will try post a pic of mine the weekend weather permitting!

but they would have to be in pic, just to be sure its there gear,or they could just get a loan of mates gear to big them elfs up...you know your an old fart
when you start thinkin like i do;):p:D

Airsoft as any sport or hobby is expensive and not for everyone. you could easily loose track of your money, but how you spend it defines you. like the good gerrowadat even has a real deal vehicle which easily tops most of us, puding hes ak/russian loadouts is 2nd to none, lemmings ww2 gearcollection.lito of terrelstown has 70+ aegsss.bibuyTDK 2 systema real deal T1 and eotech, everything real from ranger plate,KA and Zahal ris, multicams etc.plus bergetx3 and 1x lion claw.ozcam as the name ausie gears, masada and cris technicians extraordenaire.our local retailers whom mostly quit theyre day job to start airsoft bussiness-sorry for the unmentioned many.

as for me after 3 yrs had 10 aegs sold or given away for my team and now 1 systema.
uniforms-8 sets of real deal bdus plus corresponding real vest, lbe.
provisions given to team mate from sacks of bbs to aeg to uniforms.
    boots-4,grey black tan,real issue.
accesories of real eotechs, to KA and magpuls to pelican, tactical tailor,5.11s and list goes on..

but the real lesson here for the noobs and student (i was once ask in ratbeggan by a young fella "how can you afford these gears"refering to my systema and me being asian.-i answered back WORK YER FEEKING ASS....

Its a clone of the Maruzen APS-3.
The Maruzen one seems to be always out of stock
    and is about 295 USD.

Think the clone I got was from Well P-362 for about 50 bucks. If you want something very accurate and single shot try find the Maruzen one, as the clone is not great.

Support guns. Of the non-m249 variety ;)

    *cough*cough*Gympie*cough*

Pardon me, had sudden coughing fit there ...

Dont actually like the M249 I would prefer the M60
but at the time I went to buy once Tony from eirsoft just ran out of stock. I also missed out on the RS SVD so had to settle for an A&K.

I need more Guns with Wood! some WWII stuff, AKS type also, and a more modern F2000 and maybe an FNC. Need to get another WA Pistol at some stage too, they are just fantastic things. I dont have G3 yet either nor a FAMAS.

If I ever get a Bren Gun MK111, an SMLE and a Carl Gustav SMG then I will be happy! I know there crowd in England used to make custom Brens but very pricey.

But it's ok - you've come to the right place. We've identified the problem now, and it's clear that you want help. Step One is admitting that you have a problem, it's ok - we're here for you.

Hang on a minute - this isn't airsoft anon!

    Nice collection.

Remember that bit in Beverly Hills Cop where Eddie Murphy closes the door in Billy Rosewood's bedroom to reveal a gun rack?
