I think they are either good luck charms or some sort of wish charms (not too sure) it was right next to shrine around ueno park in tokyo.

You might be interested in the late Muineach's flickr page. He had taken a world of beautiful photos of Foxes the lived near him. As far as I remember he said something about foxes loving the taste of dates, more so than meat or anything else. (Could be wrong though, but it'll be something like dates anyway!!)

I found it 'missing' as well so I just used 'Copy Image Location'.

I've been clicking the image - which takes me to the black background, then up the top right I click the 'all sizes' tab, then right click the image and select open image in new tab. From there just take the url from the top of the page!
