Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not really. Any image you see repeated in a quote is pointing at the same HTTP resource so once you've seen the image recently, your browser will cache it and repeat occurrences of it won't affect the amount of information stored on your computer or transferred over your internet connection (both of which are negligible anyway, you could view hundreds of images and still use less resources than a YouTube video of a cat doing something mildly amusing would).
I don't really know why quoting images in this thread is frowned upon. It just seems like one of those things that was decided long ago and been kept up because it's the way it was always done.0 -
