Help suggesting a song to sing please?

    My friend is trying to select a song to sing at a fundraiser for a town hall, the crowd will be mixed ages 13 to 60.. shes stuck trying to think of something.. all suggestions are welcome....

    Can you narrow it down - does she have a low, soft voice? Is she looking to sing a slow or fast paced song? etc. etc.

    That "Search for a Hero" song by M-People seems to be the anthem of fund-raising charity type faire. Usually I start searching for a notepad and a shotgun when I hear it, but seems to work for everyone else.
