Myself and my partner have an 8 month old girl. She is having big trouble getting to sleep though. She goes up at around 9 every night, but she screams the house down for ages after she goes up. Myself and my partner have an 8 month old girl. She is having big trouble getting to sleep though. She goes up at around 9 every night, but she screams the house down for ages after she goes up. We have to go up and pat her on her back every 10 minutes for an hour or two until she finally falls asleep. When she does sleep she sleeps until 8.30am but its the whole fighting sleep at night thing that has us puzzled. She sleeps in the morning for an hour and afternoon for 2-3 hours, and before she goes to bed she's rubbing her eyes and falling asleep in our arms, but it's the second she goes into the cot she screams. Any ideas?
