    Wasn't sure where to post an introduction thread, so thought I'd do it here, since it's the board I'll be hanging around most I'm sure! :)

    Some of you know me, I'm Laura, one half of Bongo Fury Rats in Clonakilty - and I have finally made it over here in a bid to promote rats as pets! :)

    Will post a thread later on introducing my lot, and seeing if I can attract some new people to ratty love! ;)

    Hi :)

    I'd love rats as pets, but unfortunately my mother has a big fear of rats, and doesn't want me having inside pets either (though there are three cats in this room!) so I've got guinea pigs (they don't have tails or very pointy noses, so are that much less scary than rats) :)

    I love guinea pigs, but I bet rats are much smarter and better pets in some ways! I can't wait to see photos of your rats.

    I like piggies, I rescued a couple once and they were with us a good while before they went to their new home :) Lovely little chaps.

    Rats are much more interactive and intelligent though - really like little dogs! :D
